New Payment Option

Hello All,

We have finally gotten with the times and added an online payment method! You are now able to pay for the class right when you sign up through your teamup account using your paypal account. Don’t have paypal? Not to worry, when you visit the paypal payment prompt page there is an option to pay directly with your debit or credit card!

To speed up our ability to switch between classes and to better serve you before and after classes, we have removed the ability to pay for future classes with cash. Any classes that have already been scheduled using the cash method will still be honored, so for those classes, be sure to bring cash or check.

We’re back!

The first full week back in action here at Evviva Cycling is almost complete and we have had a great time. Full classes, lots of sweating, plenty of swearing, and most importantly, lots of laughing. Good music, bad music, tv shows, and bike racing have been the entertainment of choice, but what it really comes down to is training our bodies and minds to be stronger, fitter, and sharper! We are off to a great start!

The rain is here, the time is now

Here we are again, folks, the rainy season. The weather has turned dark and wet, however, most of us aren’t yet ready to hang up the bike. If you’re anything like us here at Evviva, you’re never quite ready for that! But what does this mean for you? It means that we are ready for all your fall/winter training needs.

Starting in October, we are offering one class on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm and two classes on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm and 6:45-7:45pm! Don’t worry, as classes start to fill up, we will be sure to add more classes throughout the week. So make sure you visit the Online Class Scheduler tab above and get yourself signed up soon!

Cyclocross Season is upon us!

Many of you have been working on honing your cyclocross skills, our Thursday night skills clinic has been great! However, now is also the time to be working on your cyclocross fitness. Think about how you feel after that first 1/4 lap. Do you feel like you have already completely drained your tank? Are you the rabbit or the dog on the chase? How about at the end of the race….are you the windshield or the bug? This is all related to your fitness!

Intervals, intervals, intervals! They are awful, they hurt, the do not feel good….but they are a necessary element of your cyclocross training. If you are not doing intervals, you are already behind!

Come see us on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-6:30 pm where we will be executing vo2 max intervals and tabata intervals. These will hurt, but the physiologic gains you get from the efforts will ultimately take you to the next level in your racing!

New New New Evviva

Here we are again, folks!  Summer is wrapping up nicely and these dog days won’t last long.  As many of you know, Luke Demoe and his wife, Senna, have moved on towards their next adventure in life.  They are settling nicely into a wonderful little place up in Bellingham, WA.  Senna starts teaching at Western Washington University this coming fall term and Luke is now working at a great bike shop called Fanatik Bike Co.

With Evviva is under new managent, and all of us missing Luke dearly, I hope to usher you all into the rapidly approaching fall/winter season as smoothly as possible!

Our fall schedule will be finalized shortly and I will post the update soon.  Right now it’s looking like we will have Monday and Thursday classes from 5:30 to 6:30 pm with more classes added on other days as the weather turns and the need arises.
